Checking out Big W this week for some family essentials like tiolet paper and prewash – found buying in bulk is the way to go.
Love shoping at Big W as you can check out by yourself – just need a register assistant to check your signature if you pay by credit who are very helpful, if lacking in personality
The grog shop that rocks
Great selection and knowledgeable staff who are too willing to assist
always have fantastic special especially on my favourite – Corona the best beer in the world

woolworths Noosaville was a grand place to shop this week, I picked up some great specials like trident biscuits 2 4 $ 2.96, cadbury dark chocolate a food group in itself for only $3.69.
I can’t believe that people actually keep their jobs in the deli, customer recognition is none existent, Oh and she will serve you in a minute, I’ve got to get the phone? What the? and the lady had to finish doing what she was doing and change her gloves before she could serve me – really not very impressive
Checkout chick was efficcient, just as well

Some great deals at woolworths this week Broccoli @ $2.21/kg what a ripper service was awesome this week keep up the top work woolworths
Healthy Life Noosa with out a doubt some of the friendliest staff on the coast and very knowledgeable to boot. Picked up some great products from Natural Instinct – body wash and hand wash all organic and makes your skin feel real good
also picked up some mag phos spray for muscles very effective muscle relaxant helps ease away pain and stiffness after a thrash on my mountain bike in the bush!
DFO – Brisbane
looked for suitable business attire for women in many shops like katies, portmans, espirit but to no avail found some absolute bargains and very professional looking suit all for under $230 at Jacqui.e and actually got some service which seems to be lacking at most outlets in DFO
How exciting it is to check out the specials each week with some of my favourites on special like greenseas tuna @ $2.99 and buying in bulk does save you dollars like sandwich bags 100 for $4.99 – gotta love it
The kids also got their own cleaning cloths this week as they love to help me clean the house, Miss 4 got a pink one and Mr 2 got a green one so they will be no fighting, well minimize it anyway
The service in the deli was attroaches once again, staff are to busy doing they thing instead of looking out for customers. The checkout chick was great though, she actually smiled!
Woolworths noosa
Yep its been entertainment week!
The kids didn’t miss out they were treated to a Playschool concert with big ted, humpty dumpty and all their friends. Miss four loved the concert and danced along with every song, Mr 2 was unplussed by the whole affair, he only came alive when Big Ted arrived on the scene.
Definately great value for the kids, take your own snacks though as the food was ridiculously priced as where the soveniours
We recently had the huge pleasure of attending a Rogue Traders concert in the local area. I was reluctant to go when my wife booked the tickets as they weren’t my favourite kind of music or band. That was before the concert!
Natalie Bassingthwaighte – Oh My God! Not only can she sing, she is drop dead gorgeous and knows how to work the crowd into a frenzy. I can safely say i’m a fan for life now. She can entertain me anytime! Apparently she has upcoming movies that she starred in Prey, a solo album on the way and numerous other things. When she is on stage she loves to let loose and go as crazy as possible, according to recent media reports – I can voutch for that!
As with most bands, definitely better in the flesh. Check out www.RogueTraders.com to see if they are coming to an venue near you, well worth the $44 a ticket.
Check out the latest CD at Amazon.com
Songs played included some old favourites, some new ones and some covers, even one of Sinead O’Connors hits which she did extremely well

This week we have the delightful task of buying nappies for Mr 2’s unwanted by products. He uses the potty for #1’s but still likes to crap in a nappy. So off to the shops we go and I found the best buy with the best service at Big W in the form of snugglers nappies for toddlers. I will let you know if Mr 2 likes them in future posts
Woolworths was my grocer of choice this week as they had save $1 on bread loaves and bananas on special @ $1.49/kg yummy, yummy! This was a quick trip as the roads are flooding around us and we don’t want to run out of food if we are flooded in for a few days. There will be more in a few days about the service and other specials
Also found a great little fruit and vegie shop called Novellino@noosa the produce looks fresh and I thought I would try their avocados and honey as they were cheaper than the supermarket. The service was great, a checkout guy who actually spoke, wow! more than the usual grunt/acknowledgement you normally get out of young attendents
more soon
