This weeks tasty food was bought from the tewantin store, where I found the staff to be very helpful and cheery
lots of great specials as well, arnotts biscuits 3 for $3.99, leggos sauce onel $2.89 and toilet cleaner at $2.49 saving 50c
would shop there again as you can park right out the front, however the selection seems to be a little short of the noosaville stores
Big w
Keeping my sons bum happy this week are snugglers nappies and Huggies baby wipes, what I love about big w is the ability to check yourself out instead of lining up and waiting to be served, keep up the good work big w!
No not really, but this week my wife picked up some specials on olay facial cleansers at Big W, noosa civic which included a free toiletery bag. Aparently it is good for your skin to try new products so she has, will let you know the results in a few weeks
No I’m not buying a fat pig!
But The Eumundi Markets are a great source of fresh, mostly locally grown, fruit and vegies. there are a number of stalls and I try to buy a little from them all depending on quality, price and Service.
the quality can vary stall to stall and week to week but the produce tastes so much better than that purchased at supermarkets!
Price can also vary from stall to stall eg broccoli was $2.50/kg at one stall and $5.00/kg at another, what the? they must have very expensive pickers!
Service varies as much as the personalities at the stalls, some stalls weren’t manned, some have grumpy, whingy owners and aren’t very busy, others are more outgoing and chatty and have a lot more customers
You can also pick up local honey that hasn’t been processed to the hilt!

woolworths Noosaville was a grand place to shop this week, I picked up some great specials like trident biscuits 2 4 $ 2.96, cadbury dark chocolate a food group in itself for only $3.69.
I can’t believe that people actually keep their jobs in the deli, customer recognition is none existent, Oh and she will serve you in a minute, I’ve got to get the phone? What the? and the lady had to finish doing what she was doing and change her gloves before she could serve me – really not very impressive
Checkout chick was efficcient, just as well

DFO – Brisbane

This week we have the delightful task of buying nappies for Mr 2’s unwanted by products. He uses the potty for #1’s but still likes to crap in a nappy. So off to the shops we go and I found the best buy with the best service at Big W in the form of snugglers nappies for toddlers. I will let you know if Mr 2 likes them in future posts
Woolworths was my grocer of choice this week as they had save $1 on bread loaves and bananas on special @ $1.49/kg yummy, yummy! This was a quick trip as the roads are flooding around us and we don’t want to run out of food if we are flooded in for a few days. There will be more in a few days about the service and other specials
Also found a great little fruit and vegie shop called Novellino@noosa the produce looks fresh and I thought I would try their avocados and honey as they were cheaper than the supermarket. The service was great, a checkout guy who actually spoke, wow! more than the usual grunt/acknowledgement you normally get out of young attendents
more soon
just a reminder, if you would like your products/services reviewed on this site then pls contact us

Product Review:
Mountain bike pedals – attended local bike shop and found them expensive although the service was great, staff were very knowledgable, went to Annoconda in Everton Park and got a great deal pedals and shoes and socks all for $319 and Shimano qualtity as well. The staff were great at annoconda very knowledgable. Eric even fitted the cleats to my shoes for me. It’s a pitty he couldn’t have fitted my pedals as the originals didn’t want to come off but did eventually. The first few rides have been pretty awesome at my local bush tracks – no stacks! Will give updates in the future of ongoing wear and tear and usability
childrens books – found great book shop at DFO Brisbane airport for childrens books after looking locally and not finding much at the price cheap learning and colouring books $4.95 & $6.95 reduce by half price service was non existint as you get in most book shops Miss 4 has already enjoyed learning about matching objects and Mr 2 has been doing fantastic colouring in
